Meggan Meakin is the owner and lead designer of MoonRise Floral Design. She is a Rochester native who found her love of flowers when she moved to Memphis, TN to immerse herself in the sustainable farming community. Meggan discovered that designing with the flowers grown in her garden tugged at her heart strings more than anything, and she began her dream of designing for weddings and events when she moved back to the area in 2016.
Here at MoonRise we have a passion for sourcing locally and sustainably grown flowers, whether from our own cutting gardens, or from local farmers. We do our best to source from companies we believe utilize more sustainable practices when sourcing out of season, or for specialty flowers. We are dedicated to educating ourselves on the current trends and innovative techniques in the floral industry, and rest assured that quality is our number one priority. Our hearts go into every design, and we LOVE creating flower magic for weddings and events.
